Gov. Kelly Declares April as Child Abuse Awareness Month

Governor Laura Kelly has proclaimed the month of April as Child Abuse Awareness Month in Kansas.

Kelly said that she urges residents to familiarize themselves with the signs of abuse and the Kansas Protection Report Center’s (KPRC) resources.

If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected in Kansas, you can contact the KPRC at 1-800-922-5330.

You can find additional resources as well as information about prevention and protection services by visiting the Department for Children and Families (CDF) here.
