Wichita man charged in fatal stabbing

A Wichita man has been charged with first degree murder for a fatal stabbing that happened at a south side home.

34-year-old Kenneth Junious made his first court appearance Thursday and his bond was set at $250,000.   His next court appearance will be December 3rd.

Junious was arrested for the November 15th stabbing death of 59-year-old Brian Turner.  Police were called to a home in the 2800 block of South Washington and they found Turner with a number of cut and stab wounds.   He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the stabbing was the result of an argument between the two men.   They reported that Junious has previous felony convictions and he had been on parole with the Kansas Department of Corrections.
