Arrest made in Medicine Lodge murder

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Medicine Lodge police and the Barber County Sheriff’s Office have announced an arrest in the murder of a Medicine Lodge woman.

Officials were looking for 34-year-old Clinton Rogers as a person of interest, and he was found on August 11th in Glendive, Montana.    He was brought back to Kingman County in Kansas and KBI agents have now served an arrest warrant on a first-degree murder charge.

Rogers is accused in the murder of 61-year-old Joyce Foulkrod, who was found dead in her Medicine Lodge home on July 27th.   Rogers was accused of stealing a car in Kingman County as law enforcement officers began searching for him.

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case.
