A 32-year-old man is in jail on multiple charges stemming from a sexual assault investigation.
Wichita police were called to Harry and Poplar Sunday afternoon, and found a woman who had injuries from being attacked at a business near Harry and Hydraulic. Police say she was working there when the 32-year-old man came in and threatened her with a knife. She was eventually able to escape the business and get help.
The suspect in this case was identified and it turned out he’d already been booked into jail Sunday night, in connection to another case involving aggravated battery and theft.
According to the Wichita Police Department, the man involved in this case has previous felony convictions and is registered as a violent offender. .
