The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Goddard man was killed Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Harvey County.
Troopers said 33-year-old Brandon Michael Albert was driving east on Highway 50 near Emma Creek Road, west of Newton. His car rear-ended another car that was traveling slow due to weather conditions. Albert’s car rolled several times and he was thrown from the vehicle.
The other driver, a 47-year-old woman from Newton, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The crash was reported just after 8:30 p.m.
